One of Emma's gifts from us; I used the Dinky Baby pattern called "Mary Ann, the Christmas Mouse." The face in the pattern photo looks a lot more like a Cabbage Patch-type—mine resembles a real mouse, and I scrunched up the ears a bit so they look more mouse-y and less disney-ish. I also added the whiskers, since the buttonhole thread was out . . .
I have enough fabric left to make another one, I think, for myself . . . with a skirt, some sort of collar, and quite possibly a small flowered hat.
In other news, I completely forgot to take a picture of Myron the Reindeer, whom I made for my brother. I might remember to take the camera and do so the next time I visit, but I wouldn't count on it, my memory being what it is (or isn't, to be more accurate) these days. He (Myron, not my brother) has bendable antlers, big red feet, jingle-bell earrings, and a deceptively benign smile . . .
