Aren't these wonderful? My friend Jo-Anne in Canada knits them for kids world-wide . . . these particular bears are bound for an orphan's home in Uganda, but many of them remain closer to home. She uses odds and ends of yarn, all kinds. (These were made from some variegated acrylic I sent her back around Christmas. This many bears already!)
If you have any bits of unwanted yarn lying around (wool, acrylic, whatever; any weight is fine), she'd love to have it. Her email is fourgump at sympatico dot ca; I've been assured that she'll be happy to give you further details.
Now, wouldn't it be nice to think of your leftover yarn doing something good out in the world?
These are darling & for a good cause as well! Next time I have extra pennies, I am going to email her & see about sending her yarn! Thanks for showing us her bears! (And isn't this Friday? Tell Eliza Kai says to send YOU to time out for Kitty Neglect on your blog! Bwahahahahahaha ... sorry. I miss your kitty people!)

How wonderful are these. I love that she's doing such a great thing. I too will try to gather up something to send to her.
I know I have some around here.

What a sweetheart she is and I will for sure send her wool and since she lives in Canada, I can afford to send her same anytime, I can get it at the charity shop for a few cents...
