How Thoughtful of You

This is my new cat bed printer, bought before Christmas when my old one died in the midst of printing jam labels—we were lucky and found another Epson (say what you want, I like them, and my last one—which was free—lasted three years, and the one before that three years also; plus they use DuraBrite ink, so I don't have to spray the labels with waterproofing) with a $40 instant rebate, so it cost a total of $50. And it has a copier/scanner in it, so I don't have to unearth the scanner attached to John's computer; and a fax, should I ever run into anything I need to send somewhere . . . of course, that would require actually connecting it to the phone line, which would require moving whichever cat is currently nesting on it . . . so maybe I won't use that part.

I'm hoping that soon the novelty of a new place to nap will wear off, so I can use it myself . . .

At any rate, there are plenty of sleeping areas on The Friday Ark, as well as room for everything else, so drop by!

Oh please, you didn't think you were actually going to be able to USE the printer, did you?
I'm having yet another attempt at keeping my moggies out of the bedroom at night - the sulking and the door-scratching are terrible to behold and hear!

Happy New Year! Our cat Lily thinks I moved the (old) stereo receiver so she could sleep on it. Not sure if she likes the warmth or the vibration from the radio.........
